    Londoners - Lunch Sat 10th..

    If anyones interested, I'll be down near Old Street, Moorgate with the Outsiders Club London Social on Saturday, so if anyone fancies a bit of nosh or a chinwag..

    I don't run the lunches, just help out a bit, now and then. Lunches are hosted by one of the regular volunteers for the club.

    Details below

    London Lunch Sat January the 10th...

    London Lunches have now moved to Finch's.

    1.30 to 5.30 PM at Finch’s near Moorgate station, Veronica the Manager previously worked at the Paternoster and knows the Outsiders.
    As its the festive season, I'd suggest we dress in some brighter colours to celebrate Outsiders and the new venue. Its very grey outside

    Directions from Moorgate and Old Street Station (Old Street is the nearest) and Local bus routes are below, as well as contact details for the Pub. Liverpool Street Station is also nearby, and has links to Overground, National Rail, tube, and bus.

    Google map of the area.

    The nearest accessible rail and tube station is Farringdon, about 1 mile from the venue.

    Parking.

    There is a large NCP car park in Finsbury Square, my research on the web also suggests there is a large number of parking meter spaces near the venue which MAY be free after 1:30 PM on Saturday.

    I realise the event has been and gone now - I hope you and everyone else attending had a great time.

    For reference, the pub is in Islington, where the Blue Badge scheme applies normally. However, you are close to several boundaries and moving a short distance could put you into Camden, Hackney, Tower Hamlets or the City of London. Of this list of boroughs, it's the City of London, roughly speaking to the south of the pub, that you have to watch out for, as most of the normal Blue Badge rules do not apply.

    Blue Badge holders visiting the City of London can use bays specifically marked for Blue Badge holders (though there are very few of these in the City), but cannot park on yellow lines and only have a limited overstay concession at parking meters. These restrictions apply at all times, including weekends and bank holidays.

    @Flymo,

    If you want to do next months event let me know and I'll tell the organisers your coming. I'm off out of town but the theme will be a piss take on the sillyness of V day, should be a damn good laugh.

    Just say your one of James's friends.. They'll know!
