    Taking clothes off rail

    My mother needs a reacher of some sort to help her take clothes off the top rail in her wardrobe. She has rheumatoid arthritis and has a lot of trouble with her hands. I have seen a variety reachers but have no idea which would be the best for grabbing clothes hangers and taking them off the rail in the wardrobe. Your help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I just use a normal grabber but they may not suit everyone.

    There are different types of reaching equipment available. One that might be best for your mother is one with a squeeze grip, this style of handle might be easier for her to operate. Please have a look at the link below for more product information and suppliers that sell them:

    Another product that might be useful, is a pull down wardrobe rail. This is a rail mechanism that can be inserted into a wardrobe to facilitate access to hanging clothes. Have a look at the link below:
