It's an old story (February 2014) and there is no sign of it being implemented.
The number of appeals has dropped significantly since mandatory reconsideration was introduced, meaning the costs of operating benefit tribunals has reduced.
anyone would think the govt is actually trying to destroy the benefit system for good. Surely not! lol.
As I've said before; don't believe everything (1%) you read in newspapers.
And if you are looking at things online make sure that you look at the date.
