    Today

Hi. What has everyone done today? I had a meal in a local pub with my mum and my sister. I had steak and ale pie, chips and peas with gravy which was nice.

    Hi Sarah,

Spent most of my day with my mother, weather was torrential so caught a taxi - the quarter of a mile instead of the bus (now that's decadent lol). Ooo and my sister Skyped me about an hour ago.

I arrived home today with my Wife Mrs Kodiak.

Nothing special about that you all say, but in this case I am a very relieved Kodiak. The reason being is that on Tuesday past Mrs Kodiak was rushed into Hospital, one that is 120 miles away from where we live, for a sight saving operation.

This past few days has been very stressful for me, I had to stay in a B&B close to the Hospital, and even more Stressful for my poor Wife. She was not a happy bunny at all.

We are now back home and she is actually watching TV, she has to have 3 different types of Eye Drops put in her eyes every two hours but each day her sight is a little better. We will know in about two weeks if this will be a permanent solution but I have been advised by the consultant that he is sure it will be.

It seems like weeks have passed but in reality it was only a few days, but it it been a few days I do not wish to experience again.

All I can say is Thank Goodness for the NHS for if it had been for the wonderful Doctors and Nurses we would have been in a very bad place now, but all's well that end's well.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Been asleep from about 9:30 last night until just gone 6:00 this evening.

Going to the shop shortly, then tea, then I might go to the pub across the road for a pint and to see what the craic is.

Kodiak, That sounds scary. Pleased she's home and treatment is working.

Enjoy an evening at home - bliss after hospital! Best wishes to Mrs K.

Nukecad imagine you wake up from those sleeps feeling a bit disorientated.

Not really, just have to work out the time, eg. whether its 6 in the morning or 6 at night, both are dark at this time of year, and then what day it is.

Worst bodily problem from a long episode is dehydration. (Perhaps not the worst overall problem as mentioned in a post yesterday).

Tonight though I'm noticing that my fingers are being very dyslexic on this keyboard, have to keep checking what I've just typed.
