In addition to the thread regarding Buying Online I thought I should point out that the regulations are about to change.

(I started a new thread so this info doesn't get lost).

If you shop online or you bought from someone who came to your front door, then you need to know about the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 which come into force on 13 June 2014.

Replacing the Distance Selling Regulations and Doorstep Selling Regulations, changes include extending the cancellation period in both situations to 14 calendar days.

For the Key Facts, visit www.which.co.uk/consumercontractregulations or look in next months copy (July 2014) of Which magazine.

Key Points (brief)
