I'm sure Paul will give you loads of options.

You can't go wrong with Ford. But you really need to test ride any vehicle to make sure it meets your access needs.

Check this vehicle out - http://www.ford.co.uk/FordMotability...tabid=tab2Ford

The Skoda Yeti is also available but you wont find it under 4x4s just search for it under Skoda.

You dont say if you need an auto box if so many of the top trim levels will not even be listed on Motability, you need to look at each manufacturers own Motability pages, hope that helps.

Indeed, there are quite a few other 4 wheel drives available, I assumed an SUV when he said 4x4

Try this link, 193 4 wheel drive in various shapes and sizes

What is your criteria - other than 4x4?

    • Does it need good ground clearance?
    • Auto?
    • Maximum AP (Advance Payment) can you afford?
    • Economy?
    • Mileage?
    • Journey types?
    • 5 or 7 seats?

The more info the better really.

    Some examples (from £AP)

    Mitsubishi Outlander (£1799 Manual Only)
    Mitsubishi ASX (from £1599)
    Nissan Qashqai (£1899 Manual Only)
    Skoda Yeti (from £795)
    Skoda Superb (from £1845)
    Honda CR-V (from £1499)
Fiat Panda (from £0 Manual Only)

More examples and reviews can be found on the respected Which Motability Car website http://www.whichmobilitycar.co.uk/ca.../4x4-vehicles/

If you don't want to pay a large amount up front then a Dacia Duster would be a good option.

Apart from the fact you can't get a Dacia Duster on the Motability scheme at present.

I drove a friends "jeep" which is perfect but isn't on the site anymore? I have a very old shogun that I think I may have to keep,
Shame they don't supply for every situation

They used to have Jeep until the Daily Mail posted that article back in October 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ed-drives.html

What you are after is known around here as the golden egg, joking aside you might be best looking on this review site http://www.whichmobilitycar.co.uk/ca.../4x4-vehicles/

Don't forget to check manufacturer's own Motability pages as not all vehicles are shown on the Motability search page.

I think the sticking point will be Auto AND 7 Seats AND Ground Clearance (4x4), you may get one or two of them, but all three is tough.

Perhaps using the benefit to get a secondhand Volvo XC90, BMW X5 or something similar.

Do you need 7 full size seats?
