Hi kassya3,

So you live in the Bexley area of Kent.

You've not said what type of work you'd like to do or did? Whatever it was remember you have transferable skills.

I had a word with a woman in HR at Bexley Council. She was a disabled person who understood your position. So initially here's a link to their 'Resources Plus'. I'd like you to phone them up and register - call 020 3045 3800

Like you say getting a CV together is your first step . . . this could give you a guide but remember don't send out the same CV to every potential employer - you need to change it to suit the needs of the job you're applying for - that way it will stand out from the crowd.

I don't know if the Shaw Trust operates in your area but they will help boost your ego, confidence, job search etc - just type in your postcode to find out where your local branch is. http://www.shaw-trust.org.uk/in_my_area

Here's another organisation that can help you prepare a CV, job applications and interviews

I don't know if you'd be interested in volunteering for the London Olympics for 10 days in 84 days time (4 May)

Be pushy, don't wait for return calls - it won't happen.

Let me know if any of this helps
