passenger assist handle attachment

I am wondering is there a strap or something the you can get to attached to the passenger assist handle that the handle above the car door. I want it to hold onto when getting in and out of the car and I fine the the passenger assist handle too high

There is this sort of strap on the market its meant for attaching to the door frame but looks like it would attach to the grab handles as well

I found a small leather belt that had done the job.
