    Bridgend medical assessment centre

Has anyone been to the BRIDGEND ATOS MEDICAL ASSESSMENT CENTRE. Is there any disabled parking outside, what is access like and any other information - I just don't know what to expect. Dreading it.

If you live nearby then I would suggest going for a drive and having a look, it might help to settle at least some of your nerves.

I always get parking anxiety, and use Google Street View for anywhere I go.

Good advice Paul -Thanks. Only 4 disabled parking spaces available approx. 400 yards from entrance to Medical Centre. Other parking across the river in the multi-storey car park - not ideal by any means. However, directly outside the medical centre there is a large car park for staff - would have liked to have seen a few disabled parking spaced there solely for the use of disabled attending medical assessments. Why do they make things so difficult.

    Can anyone go with you?
They could drop you right outside a bit earlier, then they could park in the multi-storey and then come back and meet you.

    Just had an idea...
Would it not be helpful to members here if we had a sticky note with a list of medical centres with details of parking, accessibility etc.?
Just thought it might be helpful to many people, but without any comments about personal experiences with Atosh staff...

This list was provided in 2011 as the result of an FOI request.

Don't know whether all the info is up to date, as someone else requested an updated version in Feb this year and was refused.

There is this as well, DW provided a link to Bridgend AC earlier on, not as detailed as the FOI request though.
