Buying your motability car at end of term?

It's my first motability car and if I'm honest I'm really really hoping its my last one and I can get back to work etc and be better within the 3 years
I suffered brain damage (cerebral hypoxia) which has caused other issues such as mobility issues due to spasticity all caused by the hospital over dosing me on morphine.

Anyhow is it possible to purchase your own car at the end of the scheme?
If so how does it work?

    Yes.

3 months before the end of your contract (month 33) you will be invited to look for a replacement car, at this point you can ask for a valuation and they will offer top of book price.

If you are still entitled to DLA/PIP at the end of your contract you can use that money to pay for the car using their HP scheme.

I'll add more info tomorrow, just off for my tea - and to hand back my laptop to the wife

No, they see it as it's been well maintained and will usually sway towards the higher.

Lighttouch is the person you need to speak to as he has recently done it.

So I buy some damaged panels from eBay before the valuation, put the damaged panels on to lower valuation then buy it cheap, put the original panels back on

Unfortunately that won't work as they base their valuation on the milage of the car and not necessarily the condition.
