Does anyone with a lower limb impairment ever use one of these just with one pedal?I did it as a child and am wondering if it's still feasible.The hand trikes are so pricey and tend to look crap.

Does anyone with a lower limb impairment ever use one of these just with one pedal?I did it as a child and am wondering if it's still feasible.The hand trikes are so pricey and tend to look crap.
The trikes all tend to look a bit odd, probably because of associations with small kids. I am thinking about a handcycle and have seen some that don't look too 'special needs'. They do cost a fortune though.
