The first Mobility Roadshow to be held in Scotland, it was supported by the Scottish Executive and the Department for Transport.

Over one third of exhibitors were Scottish companies, many of whom welcomed the opportunity to showcase products in Scotland for the first time.

A new concept Baby Carrier that attached to the front of a wheelchair was a popular introduction from the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering.

A convenient and inexpensive ultrasonic parking sensor system, the Targa TR2, was one of the new mobility concepts exhibited.

Allied Vehicles with its first automatic vehicle, Brotherwood Automobility with a new wheelchair passenger conversion and Vauxhall Motability showcasing its fifth generation Astra led new introductions in the motoring arena.
