Thank you for that advice
So, I lost my appeal and am now putting in a claim for DHP but my local council will only pay DHP for 3 months, after which you have to find a " long term solution " stuck between a rock and a hard place
Unfortunately I didn't expect the appeal to go anywhere positive.
The 3 months DHP is disappointing.
Do they resonably expect you to find somewhere smaller in 3 months?
Unfortunately it's where we are now with housing.
My sympathies with your situation now, but I don't know of any real answer.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

If you lose the appeal for DHP, you still almost certainly better staying put with bedroom tax vs going private rental.
Do a new claim for DHP in 3 months time, 3 months I think doesnt mean necessarily you wont get it again, they just want you to go through the hassle of to keep asking to put you off.
