I’m terminally ill with multiple lung problems and have again been turned down for a parking bay outside my home.
I am only able to walk a few yards before my oxygen levels drop, hence on oxygen which is heavy to carry.
The council seem to think that I can walk over 50 metres to park my car. Has anyone gone through the appeal process?
If you have is it worth all the anxiety and stress or do I just accept that I’m to be a prisoner in my own home until the end.
Hi Susie, if the LA have turned you down twice, I think it's best to have an MP or Local Councillor intervene on your behalf.

Remember that even if they do create a disabled bay it will not be for your exclusive use, anyone with a blue badge would be entitled to use it.
