    PIP 3033 Form

    Hello

Has anybody come across a PIP 3033 and what it means going forward; is it a review or just to see what is held about you etc? Will payments stop?

    Thanks

    It's a general enquiries form.

It can be used for any (additional) question they have about your circumstances.

    It says near the top:
We need some more information before we can progress your claim for Personal Independence Payment.
It may then say something about about what you have already told them, and has a bit about where you can get advice.

The meat of the form is the box at the top of page 3 - "What we need to know" that tells you just what further information they are asking for.
Answer that, sign the declaration, and send it back.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Ok thanks Nukecad; it puzzled me when that
We need some more information before we can progress your claim for Personal Independence Payment.
was there when I have the benefit ongoing at the moment anyway, thanks for clarifying and that payments won't stop. Oh well, see what comes from it but I will see, thank you.

Just a general letter with general wording that may not apply to everyone.
It is most often used with new claims, but can be used for other things.

Sometimes it's simply because they haven't had any contact for a while and want to check you are still there.

Are they asking anything particularly odd?
Or is it just a 'to make sure our records are up to date' kind of question?

Just asking me to provide additional contact information that's all. I guess if they need to do through other ways given my hearing impairment etc as I am not abel to use the phone all the time and struggle, It's a pity ESA don't see this and I have to go to the tribunal for that. But thank you for the reassurance.

No problem there, it's just a 'keeping in touch' letter.

    Nothing to worry about.
