Complete PIP2 online?

There is a headline on Rightsnet saying:

All Pip claimants to be given the option of completing PIP2 form digitally with effect from 6 December 2021.

Unfortunately the article itself is subscriber only so I can't see it, and I can't find any more details online.

So I'm not sure if this is just for new claims, or for renewals as well?

EDIT- B&W have now also picked up this story, but have no more details to add other than that DWP staff are already being trained about the online form.
