That's the exact reason Nuke why I've never pre-registered because you don't know where you stand, you are relying on others/computers where if you do it when it's open you are just relying on yourself

    Hello Starbright,

Thanks for sending us your Warm Home Discount application. Based on what you've put on your form, it looks like you'll qualify. It's not guaranteed yet and you may need to send us proof of the benefits you've told us you get.

Please don't send these now we'll get in touch with you again if we need them.

    What happens next

We work with the Department for Work and Pensions and a third party called Auriga Services Limited, to check for proof of the benefits you get.

They might be in touch with you about this. If you're asked for proof of your benefits, you must provide this proof, or we can't pay you the discount.

If you qualify, we'll add the Warm Home Discount payment to your account by 31 March 2022. We may not get in touch again to tell you ? learn more below.

I pre-registered & my award was added to my account on the 5 October with a follow up letter telling me of my award this morning.
    Thank you EON.

Just went online to pay my Electricity bill with SSE, and despite them texting a reminder to pay yesterday the account is showing as in Credit.

The Warm Home Discount obviously went in last night, so that's saved me having to pay today.

I haven't had any notification that it's been awarded yet.
