No £20 Uplift - Finally going to High Court

Let's imagine there was only 1 legacy benefit claimant. who was left out of the uplift. Rather than the 2 million, and it didn't reach the High Court. But wen't to a standard appeal tribunal. The DWP were in attendance, with the normal 3 making the ruling. The decision would've been given that day ?

A tribunal couldn't deal with a discrimination claim so that wouldn't happen.

UC is Income Realated so does not get it.

Are you sure about that as I've always had the £10 bonus and def not on contribution based benefits?

I heard they will get the £10 this year as a one off because of the £20 loss.

Yes sorry, I should have said 'non-means tested' benefits.
Which also includes Carers Allowance, Incapacity Benefit (long term), and State Pension.

Even if they decide to give back dated payment to legacy benefits in Jan you wont see a penny until late spring
