I've just been doing the census and came across this question:
Do you look after, or give any help or support to, anyone because they have long-term physical or mental health conditions or illnesses, or problems related to old age?
Interestingly it doesn't say what kind of help, just "any help or support", so does helping others on here count?

I pondered and decided that it does count, so answered accordingly.

Which brings up an interesting thought - can you claim Carers Allowance for 'supporting' people online?
Giving an individual mental/practical support via Skype or Zoom or even email and text messages would almost certainly count.

Helping multiple people is not realy what most people would think of CA being about, and the CA application form certainly doesn't cover supporting multiple people.
But it may qualify depending on the exact wording of the CA legislation.
