I found out why I couldn't book a Wednedsay appointment.
They are doing Pfizer and AZ on alternate days, as I'd had AZ for the 2 main ones I had to have a pfizer booster.

I guess that they are not showing on the 'book-your-jab' website because they are concentrating on calling back those who had their main vaccinations there?
It was busy and they were running out of space to distance people.

Hubby has been sent a PCR test just in case he feels ill. If he has to use it and it came back positive he is entitled to one of the new anti-viral medications. This is because he is in the extremely vulnerable group. Hopefully it won't be needed.
He has a 4th jab booked for next month.

Looks like the end of testing & tracing is here:

One more tool for the extremely vulnerable people to use gone. In fact I don't think there will be anything now to help us make an informed decision. The only help will be vaccines & if you catch covid antiviral drugs.

    That's good news beau

Boris is going to talk in parliament at 4.30 today on what covid plans are going to be. Apparently there have been arguments on who can still access free covid tests & where the moneys coming from. He is going to do a podium job at 7pm tonight.

The scary thing for me is the you no longer need to self isolate if you test positive bit. Not great when your vulnerable because anyone you come in contact with could of tested positive & be around you.

I understand that loads of people will of not self isolated even when it was in law to, but this means no one will.
