The Work and Pensions Committee of MPs are holding an inquiry into ‘changes in the world of work’ brought about by the Coronavirus crisis, new technology, as well as longer term changes. Further details are https://www.parliament.uk/business/c...-launch-19-21/

Shaw Trust is planning to respond and we would very much welcome your feedback on the questions below. We would be grateful for your feedback. We will anonymise any answers that we use in our submission. Please respond by the end of Thursday 9 July. Thanks very much in advance for your input!

1) Are you receiving remote employment support, training and advice from Job Centre Plus (JCP) because of the Covid-19 restrictions, via phone or online, and how effective and useful has that been compared to face to face support?

2) How could the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and JCP improve the training and advice it offers to job seekers?

3) What support, advice and training should JCP and DWP offer to people who are looking to progress in work, or take up more hours?

4) How can the use of technology be improved and/or maintained for disabled job seekers and for people with health conditions?
