Will we see a rise in benefits income?

Above the rate of inflation? probably no.

Although UC already did provide the biggest boost for decades for some people.

It's in the news today, they have announced a 3.9% rise in pensions, but will not yet say anything about other benefits.

They won't even confirm that the benefits freeze will not be extended.

DWP Secretary Thérèse Coffey today refused to give a firm pledge that the benefit freeze will end in April 2020.
The Prime Minister has so far refused to confirm the freeze on working-age benefits will end as planned in April 2020
    .

That article is worth a read, Thérèse Coffey got blasted by the Works and Pensions Committee.
(Personally I think she is vile, and it seems I'm not the only one MPs included).
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Pensioners are a different kettle of fish to working age benefit claimants tho in politics, the tories have long been a pensioner party. I cannot see a 3.9% rise in benefits. A best case is the removal of the freeze in my opinion.
