    Universal Credit(yet again again again)

Dont take this as gospel, it might just be a load of codswallop, but from what Ive read they are thinking of scrapping universal credit and replacing it with a monthly wage https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/d...stead-16257876 we just have to wait and see

It's an old chestnut - The idea of a basic income dates back to the 1500's.

Here's the Wiki page about it, for what it's worth.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_income

It's in the news again because Labour have said they will 'consider a trial' of basic income if they get elected to government.

There are currently a few trials of basic icome running, notably in Finland, The Netherlands, and Canada
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Migration from ESA to Universal Credit- Click here for information.
