    Usage of motability car,

Hi, My son (age 6) will be going on the motability scheme, with me and his dad as named drivers,
I know the car can only be used for his use,
what are peoples opinions on SOLE Benefit in these situations?
Taking my son to school then driving car home again, same to pick him up,
how about grocery shopping? will he have to be in the car, but as the shopping is for his benefit can I use the car for shopping without him, (his condition makes going out difficult)

Would appreciate your thoughts on this, motability seemed a bit vauge

Hi, well in my humble opinion you will be able to use the car to transport your son around, getting shopping, visiting friends, socialising - anything you want. However! I must stress if your disabled son isn't in the car don't use the Blue Badge - just park as other able bodied people do.

    Have fun and drive safely.

Yep I agree with what Lighttouch has said.

You are his parent and as such everything you do is for his benefit. Everything.

Again, don't use the Blue Badge (when he's not in the car) and you'll be fine.
