american date format is been used

I've started a poll where people can show their opinions, that may give the admin hint to change it - if people would like it changed.

It was open for seven days which I thought was long enough for anyone with a strong opinion to vote.

As it turned out only 4 people voted and only 2 gave a vote to have it changed.
So I doubt that the admin thought it a question of any significance.
