I haven't been on the forum for awhile so many spam posts I got fed up.
However - it seems to have been sorted.

I have been unable to load the website on my iMac or iPad in many months. I’m pleased it’s working again.
I've been visiting less frequently, you could say I've lurked about a bit.
But folk haven't fully come back yet, I think some have gone elsewhere as posts are very thin on the ground.
But thankfully it looks like we've got rid of the spam.
It's also the time of year.
I've being doing various forums for years now, different types/subjects.
And they all go quieter in spring.
I'm sure someone like google or faceache has analysed why.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Having said that.......
There have been no posts all day, since I made the one above last night in fact.
It's also noticable that there have been no new members registered since Saturday.
Have they been turned off for the weekend or maybe there's a glitch?

Gotta say, I too stopped coming on here, fed up with the spam. Now I've changed browsers, diff issue completely and for the first time the ads are getting thhru....
Which browser?
'Adblock' or 'Adblock plus' are both popular and both have versions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, and others.
(I'm use Adblock as my main blocker on Firefox).
'uBlock Origin' (not just uBlock) is also very popular and available for most browsers.
If you want to try something a bit different then Malwarebytes has experimental versions for both Firefox and Chrome.
These stop malware and tracking as well as ads and clickbait. (So another level of antivirus protection).
Note that these are not finished versions yet so can do a few unexpected things, but they do work pretty well.
