    Help make spartacus happy

I've lifted this from B&W website. the link is here: http://wearespartacus.org.uk/reversing-from-recovery/
A new report, ‘Reversing from Recovery’, published by the WeareSpartacus campaign group, analyses figures supplied by the DWP and Motability, to discover what effect of the replacement of disability living allowance with personal independence payment will have on the economy.

They estimate that the losses will include:

    3,583 jobs in Motability-related industries
    £342 million contribution to GDP
    £79 million in tax receipts
Up to £324 million contribution to GDP from disabled people’s ability to undertake paid work.

They’d like your help to make sure that every MP, local paper and Motability dealer sees a copy of the report.

I think you are right. They will just say it is scaremongering and will bury their heads in the sand and dismiss it. Until PIP starts and it actually does happen, by that time it will be too late.

Exactly why we need to make people aware. IDS & Camaron/Clegg do not think policies through they only go for the headlines. A typical example is the proposal to cut HB to the young. I know a real young apprentice who is paid £3 an hour and has to live 150 odd miles away without benefit it would not be possible.

I think it is too late. Until they are forced to accept the truth, by many homeless & deaths, they will not listen now.
