The Beast from the East has arrived in London.
The good news is.....my garden looks as good as the neighbours
Arrived with a vengeance here overnight. Hubby cried off work, not as though he is on a contract, he works when he wants. No point in risking the journey even though we have a 4WD. At least he has a choice, many don't and are expected to turn up come what may.
It's hit us here in Notts as well .It's awful.Snowing and blowing a blizzard and I can't see the bottom of our stree.

.. Thankfully have a fantastic landlord/HA that came out to fix our broken shower last night!
And a permanent fix later today..

Well I was upset being forced to stop working but I'm so happy I'm not throwing the heavies around in these conditions.
I have enough coal, leccy, food, tea and coffee to sit it out, my fire is blazing nicely keeping the bungalow a comfortable 19°c.
