Recording a Phone Call

I would like to record a phone call via my VM landline. Any ideas how to go about it ?

I have recently purchased a cheap digital Dictaphone from eBay that has this facility. it came with a small 'box' that you can plug in between the phone and the socket that then plugs into the Dictaphone itself.
