Well, my 57 plate Scenic Dynamique Auto is showing signs of senility!

This morning the digital mileometer has had a seizure and now reads 0000 and the first zero flashes.

Any ideas as to what is happening?

Its a very very common Renault fault.

Thanks for doing the research. I phoned Chris and he reckons it will cost about £200 to put right. I've just got to email him dates and times when I'm free so he can check his diary too.

I might double check with a Renault garage too. The downside to a garage is the additional cost of Taxi fares and hassle unless they pick it up.

Don't even consider using Renault because it'll cost you in excess of £500......the greedy gits even charge an hours labour to diagnose.....when they know full well what the problem is from the get go.

If you were in London and considering a newer car I'd be looking to buy your car as is because it's been a well looked after car
