Sorry for delay, been offline...
I have numerous health problems, it all started with a lower back injury which was aggravated when me and my family were attacked by the police in 2003. CS gas was used, i got two-thirds of a canister from point-blank range, much of that was ingested. Needless to say that i have respiratory problems described as "asthma-like", the back injury has now extended to upper back, neck, and pelvic muscles. I also had a dormant and as yet undiagnosed skin condition, Hidradenitis Suppurative, which accelerated to Stage III soon after the CS contamination. In 2013, 10 years after the event, i was also diagnosed with PTSD, although it was clear to me from 2003 that was the case. Also have uncontrollable toilet needs, without much investigation the GP reckoned it to be more like IBS, but there is a known link between HS and Crohn's disease. Doesn't seem like IBS to me after talking with other sufferers. I get a little cramp in my stomach, not painful and only lasting a second or two, that's my 60 second warning to get to the bathroom.
I also had a pilonidal sinus operation around 2003, the full-length job, which didn't heal. With hindsight, this was probably Hidradenitis manifesting itself in that area. They had another go a year later, once again it didn't heal, my gf tells me it probably never will, scar tissue upon scar tissue upon scar tissue... It just keeps re-infecting. After going to the toilet this needs bathing to keep clean.
The extreme examples of abscesses included one the size of a saucer to the right-hand-side of the top of the sinus wound, another the size of a ping pong ball on my abdomen, and on the day of the first tribunal i was shafted at, i had another between my anus and scrotum, making sitting at all difficult. They questioned my integrity from the outset, next time i'm just gonna drop my drawers, whether they want it or not. Photos were supplied (2 copies) of some of the worst ones but at the tribunal my colour his res photos had changed to b/w photocopies where you would struggle to identify anything in the picture.
My contribution was pretty big, i'd need to go digging to find it, but therein lies the problem, their original medical report was so badly wrong it needed a lot of correcting...
