hi peter I no what your going through it makes you mentally ill. I was placed in the support group last time with full points for my diabetic black outs. not this time though 0points like the past never happened. I've had 2 heart attacks and a stroke since but because I can still walk and get on and off the table 0 points. my doctor has put me on the sick for 3 months so I hope to get jsa no money yet though. I have been given a sick note for chronic depression and seeing metal health nhs. but the one thing my doctor will not do is write me some evidence to back my claim they don't want to get involved. the only evidence I have are referral letters to different nhs services. this hole thing as made me really ILL with stress take care peter Tony

Tony. If like myself you are unsure what to do try and find someone to help who knows the system. I made the mistake of filling the form in myself thinking my medical records would be enough. Also try again with your doctor but word things a differant way. My doctor wants to help but does not know the system. I have asked him for a check up as i am now on jsa and will be looking for work (even though im going to appeal) i am hopefull that this check up will show my issues up in a way i can use to help me at appeal. Nukecad makes a good point when he states no one has this info (who would write it) so you are not alone mate and can win this without it. Hopfully MR will see that my case will be overturned at appeal and will act to save them the costs but i am getting ready to go all the way. I have also learnt to treat the complaint and the appeal as 2 differant things when at first i believed if i just proved he lied they would give me my esa back. Good luck ..

Well of course there are people who have this info; you, and your family and carers if you have them.

So it's up to you to get across to the assessor and Decision Maker just what you are able and unable to manage.

You could get family, or carers, to write something, but they don't know the system so could write the wrong things.
And of course they are not 'professionals' so their evidence won't carry much weight, if any at all.

Very few doctors or medical specialists see their patients at home regularly, so they can't write a letter saying how you manage at home day to day.
I don't know everything. - But I'm good at searching for, and finding, stuff.

Nukecad. I tried to explain my issues as best as i could both on the form and also to the hcp. I honestly believe i have a better understanding of them than the hcp who called my vertabrae "neckspinebones" and also took the deppresion of my spinal cord as i was deppressed . He refused to listen to me and also stated i use morphine because i like the effects or because they are wearing off more than the pain is coming back. I think he had made his mind up i was getting zero points b4 i even went in the room and everything else was just him making sure he could tick the boxes to try and prove i was fit 4 work even though i am not atm. I scored 37 points the last time and i am getting worse so i cant believe he gave me zero points this time. My report is so far away from what was said at the time i honestly believe its a cut and paste job with just my details added. I hope the dm calls me so i can try and explain things to someone who listens and does not have the same attitude as the so called hcp. Thanks for taking the time to read my posts and your imput is of value to me.

good luck mate its not enough that we aren't very well we have to become a lawyer too. I think I must have had bad luck with my citizens advice help. I have wasted 2 weeks mandatory consideration waiting to see this guy . I kid you not the guy was about 20 dressed in scruffy jeans and tee shirt. when he sat with me he said its a long while since I wrote any letters . you will have to tell me what you want me to write. when I started to tell him I am diabetic and suffer hypos he said you will have to tell me what are they. my heart sank. after 10 minutes I said I can write to them myself cant I and he said yes may be that would be better you have more time than I have I kid you not.

anyone who reads this this is a true story. I have done the best I can now and sent everything off Take care Tony leics.

You should not provide a fit note until your JSA is in payment (ie. you've received a payment), was your JSA in payment?.
