What's your favourite golden oldie film

Well hello folks. I recorded a film going back to 1984 called ' Footloose' with Kevin Bacon. It rather took me back to the 'disco' days where I would have been one of the first on the dance floor. I've still got the music in my veins!

What's your favourite film and why?

You call that a golden oldie? I thought you meant from the 40s-50s. OMG, if the 80s are old then what am I?

Ha, ha, maybe 'golden oldies' is a little too far back! Although I have seen that recent Oscar winning film 'The Artist' which harked back to the black and white silent movies that now seems very fashionable.

I believe the film makers of Titanic are re-releasing the same film in 3D. I've got a sinking feeling about this idea.

OMG, that pun is so bad it is worthy of me! We have just seen a series of Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes films, from the 40s. They were great. I do not like modern films as they are just an excuse for sex & violence. I am not opposed to that, but not just for the sake of it. I liked the original Gaslight, & the remake, Fanny by Gasligt. of course, they were both made in the 40s.
