Hi all,
I remember a story where an individual on state benefit was taken to court/ because his child was given a large cash amount (£20,000), by the grandfather. And he argued in court the transaction was between the grandfather/ grandson and nothing to do with himself
I did not see the outcome, but my question is- I am disabled and receiving Esa support group/ and DLA high rate, would my payments be affected/ or get into trouble IF i were to open a child ISA account (which ONLY the child) can access once they reach 18 or 21 for my child.
Basically the grandfather (my dad) would like to pay monthly amounts into the ISA/ starting off with £1,000 untilhe retires in 3 yrs
Many thanks in advance
