Need some advice with how to proceed with IB decision

    Hi everyone,
Ive been lurking for a while trying to read up about what may happen as I recently had my Atos medical appointment to decide my fate with my Incapacity Benefit.
I recieved my decision today and they have decided that I am to be placed in the 'work related' group. I would like to know what I need to do from here to appeal and in what order. Do I......

Ask for the reason behind the decision? (do I need to wait for the answers before making any sort of appeal)
Is there 2 different appeals? Is asking them to look at the decision again, different from appealing?

I have been on IB for some years due to mental health issues but without delving too deep and boring everyone, I suffer from anxiety which stops me leading a normal life. I cant socialise, communicate with many people, sit in a room with others, go into shops, and not even sit at the dining table and eat with my family. I havent even been to a doctor in years as I cant bear to go because of the interaction with other people so have no medication to help. Day to day living is very difficult mentally for me.

With all this explained to Atos at the appointment which was very traumatic for me, it obviously hasnt made a bit of difference and now they are going to send me a letter making me go to see an advisor. I cant mentally do this and Im not sure what I need to do. I cant phone anyone or talk to anyone for advice as its one of the issues i have with interacting with people so sitting in a room talking to an advisor doesnt bear thinking about and i know i cant mentally do it.

I just would like some advice in lehmans terms of what i need to do next...but bearing in mind i cant interact with people.
Thanks in advance, any help would be much apreciated.

you could appeal but that carries risks ....everyone wants support group a thread on B&W talks of a thread on rightsnet where they think tribunals will start striking out support group claims ....you need to get expert advice or get someone to get it for you
