Read this too late. I find the bigger supermarkets are on board with accessibility. Shopping malls usually have lifts and loos. Its the smaller places. But its the power of the £!! I boycott places I can't easily get in!
So as TFK said above, we probably passed a dozen tea rooms which I rejected as not flat entrance. I can manage a small step alone, with some finangling. But a step of 3 ins requires 2 of us to lift the empty chair.
