Hi. Does anyone know of a service for selling second hand equipment for disabled children? We have a special needs pushchair which we bought for our six year old son to take on holiday a year or so ago which we no longer need. It's hardly used and sitting in a cupboard but it's kind of a niche market so I don't think putting it in the local paper would work. Any ideas?
Yes, eBay is a good place. You could also look at placing cards in the usually places-Post Offices, supermarkets, some charity shops allow it. People who read them may know of someone looking, even if they are not themselves. Sometimes there are local charities that do sell such items, but it is finding them.
