I really hope this is true as I'm one of the half a million plus who will lose my PIP plus loss of housing benefit, hubby's carers allowance and probably a chunk of my student finance if I'm no longer classed as disabled, all the while with a deteriorating condition which won't get any better without knee replacement surgery, which they won't do because they say I'm too young. Hope we get it confirmed on tomorrow's news!
Read carefully. The cuts "over which IDS resigned will not go ahead". Doesn't say there won't be ANY. We wait and see.....
It doesn't matter if it's ESA or PIP they're talking about, I'm sure we're all fed up of being in the political spotlight when really what is being debated is how we manage (often very personal details like our personal care) our independence. It's our lives. Dignity and respect?? Grrrr. Sorry I know we all know this.
Respect for Jeremy Corben for attempting to remind people on the news yesterday that we are all one car crash way from being disabled.
As Reddevine says we will just have to wait and see what happens next.
Now saying IDS resignation was about EU. What the hell are we to believe.
