More ESA cuts in the pipeline

Read this today. Disgusting policy, I really feel for those who are affected if these cuts go ahead.

This is truly diabolical isn't it. The welfare state should be there to protect these vulnerable people in their time of need - absolutely 100%. They have enough on their plates to be worrying about all ready - like staying alive - for Gods sake - they shouldn't have to worry about our heartless government cutting back on their benefits - putting their homes at risk. This is a total disgrace in my opinion. Any other right-minded person would surely think the same? However, not MR Cameron it would seem - after all he is the man in charge - these decisions are ultimately made by him. It's all the more bewildering when you think how the PM himself has in the past apparently felt the need to claim disability benefits (DLA) for his now deceased son - tragic though it was. At least Mr Cameron didn't have to worry about his benefits being cut - those were the days of relative compassion and empathy.

    WRAG not working so!!!

    Hi folks,

The reason for the reduction of WRAG payments is because when it was introduced it was for a number of reasons.

    1. There was an assumption that it would drive the scroungers back to work.

    2. The participants would be given the appropriate help, support and guidance.

    3. The participants placed into WRAG would not be seriously sick or disabled.

The limited number of genuine scroungers know how to work the system.

There has never been any help, support or guidance for most.

And many people placed into WRAG were more seriously sick or disabled than the system was designed for, because they incentivised ATOS to place claimants into WRAG rather that support group.

But rather than find a way to try to make it work properly, the only answer is to reduce the payment and hope to drive folk back to work.

Then the media wonder why there has been over 2000 people who died after being found fit for work.

BTW. Anybody else concerned about Teabaggers idea to scrap the freedom of information act?
