    Shower Chair / Commode

    Hi everyone,

    Just looking for some advice,

I am looking for a height adjustable shower chair or commode that can collapse and is portable.

I need the seat height to be of 21-24 inches,

    This would be perfect

But it has a hole in the middle which I don't need. But I do need a soft seat like PU Foam, this looks like hard plastic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know where you would get a height adjustable one ( sorry ) but what I can advise that unless you have good balance when sitting the solid seated shower chairs can become slippy.

This is from my own experience as a special needs carer.
I used to look after a young man with MD and this type of chair wasn't suitable as he would slide in the chair.

    Hi J.Sully

I don't think there is an easy solution to this. Commode chairs by their nature will have an aperture and a cushioned surface is likely to degrade much faster than the framework of a seat. They are not by their nature all that foldable. There is a foldable product in the report below (The Getaway) and some bath cushions that can double for shower seating. You might want to contact suppliers for more advice.
