New medical Assessment on 31st July. What to do about evidence gathering.

    Hello all.
I was on here over a year ago as failed everything including pip tribunal. So I'm starting over again.

Yesterday I received my medical assessment date which is on 31st July in 7 days time. Should I try to get as much medical evidence together now to take to my assessment with me?
My gp is behind me a lot more this time and wants to write a letter for me saying how my illnesses affect my daily living etc. So off to a good start. I know there is something else I should try to take with me as evidence but I can't remember what its called. Is it medical records? If so have I got enough time to get them?

My illnesses are CFS/ME rather badly. Sjorgrens syndrome, underactive thyroid. Continuing back problems.

    Thank you to all

As much medical evidence as you can. The letter from your GP will be helpful. Are there any other specialists? Physiotherapy etc. If you dont have time to request reports from them, have they sent reports back to your GP? Could you get a copy?

Hi Flowers14. Yes your medical records are good if you go to the doctors quite regularly as they will be able to see that on them. My CAB adviser got hold of mine for me but you should be able to ask for them. It may take them a couple of days to print them off for you. Good luck on Friday.

    Hello Carl30
I think we've chatted before, how are you?
Actually yes and I keep forgetting I go to these places ie CFS hospital in Nuneaton but been discharged. Eye doctors specialists for eye plugs etc but been discharged. Rhumatologist but been discharged ALSO these appts were over a year ago.
To be quite honest I felt like non of them could be bothered worth me except my eyes specialis who said Trust me you have Sjorgrens disease I've seen this many times over the years.
Good Idea Carl I will write down to ask my GP about any replies.
    Thanks
    Flowers
