    Designing by committee - I feel sorry for the designer!!

    I also like the way Apple depict silhouettes in graphic form to attract attention.

    I remember the HR manager telling me that in her opinion at least 25% of the organisation were probably disabled in one form or another but only 4% of the workforce were happy to consider themselves disabled.

    When I once wanted to attract more people to join our disabled staff group I sent an intranet message to all staff headed 'Do you consider yourself to be disabled? We doubled the groups number as many people joined with hidden disabilities. The most common being Dyslexia.

    The Director was colour blind but he didn't consider himself disabled.

    Any disability group should follow the social model of disability not the medical model as followed by medical clinicians - it makes the world of difference.
