    External door locks

    My friend needs new external doors (front and back) to replace the current double glazed versions. They all seem to be fitted with locking systems which require you to lift the handle before turning the key. Although these provide very good security she has difficulty lifting up (no problem pushing down). Has anyone else had this problem and/or can you suggest a solution?

    Hi Susan,

    Has your friend tried the 'door opener' before? This is a device which forms an extension handle to a lever door handle and makes it easier for people to open doors. Please have a look at the link below for product information:
