    Ouch, my face hurts

Just woke up on the floor with two broken teeth. Face hurts, sharp edges on teeth.

Reckon I've just had my first eppy for 5 years. Thought I was over them.

Ah well, will be OK its not the firt time I fell over and damaged myself.

Teeth feel funny though, will have to try to get to a dentist tomorrow.

Oh dear nukecad, do you have a local hospital with dental department for emergencies.

Shucks, presume you were alone when it happened. Any other bruising? Play it safe and get head checked out too - e.g. a knock to the head.

Well I'm up and about again now, had a sleep for a while but don't think it was concussion.
As I said I used to throw eppys quite a bit and so know the craic.

Most epileptics don't bother with the hospital if they can help it.
All they do is put you in a cubicle for a couple of hours to make sure you don't have another (status epilepticus) and then chuck you out.
Can be a bugger if you were doing your shopping and now have to get back into town to find your bags.

For myself today, I have a sore back which is usual for one of my fits.
The muscles spasm and fight against one another causing a sprain.

I have lost half of one of my front teeth on a diagonal from the gum to the bottom and chipped the canine next to it.
Feels weird and looks strange in the mirror.

There is a big groove in the laminate floor of my living room, guess that was the tooth breaking off.

All in all I am OK but thanks for the concern Amy, I am that much OK that I am going to go across to the pub for a while.
(If I do fall over again they can send me to the hospital, which is six miles away with a bus back once every two hours on a Sunday).

On what may be a strange note - I quite welcome the return of my epilepsy.

I was epileptic from 1984 to 2009 and it never stopped me working.
Then my Hypersomnia took over from the epilepsy and I had to stop work.
Maybe the eppy coming back means the Hypersomnia will end and I can get back to work? I hope this will be the case.

Argh - first reply has gone to moderation, think I used a bad word. Should turn up soon.

PS. I have had my head scannned a lot of times, and guess what?
They say that there is a brain in there somewhere. LOL.

Had a couple of days in bed just sleeping a lot and reading, up and about again now.

Bit achey and a bit of a headache so maybe was a slight concussion.
When you go unconcious for 24 hours at least once a week anyway its a bit hard to tell. LOL
