Access to Work Changes
Mark Harper, the Minister for Disabled People, has talked about new changes to Access to Work.
Access to Work pays for things that help disabled people to get or keep a job.

This could be things like a sign language interpreter at work, a personal assistant, a taxi to work or a different type of computer.

Some of the changes are:

· People will be able to get control of the money for travel or support at work.
· A video service for British Sign Language users.
· More advice and support to disabled people who want to run be their own bosses.
· Making it easier for people to get help from the Mental Health Support Service.
· The rules for Access to Work customers will be put into easy read and British Sign Language formats.
