On an old thread that fastwheels started, they say that the DP money was put into his main account - not a separate one just for the Direct Payments. Could this be why he has run into problems???
Forum members for reasons of personal safety and security aren't allowed to post their addresses on here.
So it'll be a bit tricky for you to find anyone to write to on here.
The Post Office card account that sea queen is talking about is not a savings account. It's an account set up to have benefits paid into and withdrawn out of.
It was set up when the DWP stopped...
OK, but do you have any idea why that thread, which was popular and could have been added to as time went on, is now shut down?
The link does not work.
As an aside does anyone have any idea why the "You know you are disabled when....." thread was closed down?
It was a topic that could have run on and on with people...
Sorry to hear your news flower angel.
Look after yourselves.
Just to add -
The OP started a thread - talking about having a second child.
Here she is talking about a small child who has been in Nursery for 3 months.
In 2014 the OP posted that her...
I also wondered if any of this situation had something to do with the issues the OP posted about when she first joined here.
So would you rather that the teachers took no interest in your child's welfare or behaviour?
If your child pushed or possible hurt another child - that's serious and they need to do something...
Sorry, reddivine, when I click on the link it takes me to the website but says page not found.

I receive Income Related benefits and have never had to "sign on".
Health is more important, in my opinion.
Having a desire to work and not rely on benefits - nothing wrong with that.
But each individual has to be realistic about what they know they could cope...
Excellent post here reddivine.

Enjoy it and look after yourself nukecad.

Stevie Nicks is more my cup of tea than these two. Barlow and that Corden I mean.
Absolutely, beau.
Colour is all around us, scenery, clothing, hair colour, paintings.
You could argue that advertising encourages people to all look the same way, wear the same clothes, smell...
I don't believe for one second that any of these retailers give a stuff about how lonely some of their potential customers might be at Christmas. All they want is for people to spend their money at...
I agree
Wish some people would understand that there many people on here who just do not have the money to spend, spend, spend. Having this stuff rammed down their throats particularly if you are...
Following comments regarding my contribution to this forum, I thought I should try to put my forum posts into some sort of context and hopefully give a clearer idea of where I am coming from.

Welcome Leesa.
Even though you are from a different country, I am sure that you will find you have lots in common with disabled people in the UK. I am sure we all share many of the same...
Well, regardless of what a dictionary definition of 'normal' is - how IDS sees disabled people does have a huge impact on all disabled people's lives. What he thinks does matter - a great deal.
How has the OP managed to have a separate forum account and user name and post history. She's started a thread in the Suppliers section promoting her latest book..... user name is the same?
If you have the nous to set up and run a business, I'm confused as to why you need advice on the procedure for selling a business????
On your other thread, "esa and getting married" you say you...
