Keep your ears open for someone who does sewing/dressmaking from home. Do not entertain the companies who will charge you an arm and a leg making it cheaper to buy the expensive versions.
I am a...
Do you know anyone who sews and could adapt a standard pair for you.
If I were to adapt some I would unpick the front seam, put a placket on one side with velcro and velcro on the unadapted side...
StarBright, thanks for that. I have already marked out calendar for 11 weeks after our jabs. If I haven't heard anything by then I will be chasing it up.
I used to have a Dora before I upgraded and found it very easy to use. Only changed because I wanted a dual sim.
StarBright, I suspect it will be the Oxford one because of them having to travel with it and storage problems with the Pfizer. It will be interesting to see which one you will get.
Not a thing other than a bruised feeling spot on my arm that is normal with vaccinations. Nothing to worry or write home about.
Study reveals extent of Covid vaccine side-effects, I, personally don't think them worrying.

Apart from a carer, when my hubby got the telephone call regarding his covid vaccination and his appointment was made I asked about mine. Because I am in the same group as him due to age they...

Take a look.
That is concerning. If the 2nd dose is not given after 3 weeks then the initial dose will have been a massive waste of money.
I also got the letter today telling me to make an appointment.
Further down the letter it said to ignore it if you had already had the 1st dose.
Receiving Carers Allowance does work for the Covid vaccination. My carer got a letter yesterday to book an appointment that she got for today. She had to take a passport or driving licence, proof of...
They do ask you a long list of questions before they give it to you. I don't think they will attempt it if there is any doubt you may have a reaction.
We had the Pfizer and then read they were slowing the production down in order to produce more in the future. That has brought doubt into my mind whether or not we will get a booster in 12 weeks, if...
StarBright, I agree with your sentiments.
On top of that, if the time lag diminishes the protection vastly the whole exercise of all these vaccination will have been a massive waste of money.
In...
No further appointment given. I am trusting to luck that we will get one. Made a note on my calendar just in case.
According to the news, senior medics want the 12 weeks for the second one halved....
The one thing I don't agree with.
I was surprised to be given a coat sticker that said I have had the Covid vaccination. Something else that hasn't been thought through very well. If anyone sees...
That is a thought, wonder if the same applies to the flu vaccine?
We are now on a very long road to freedom with no real end in sight.
Been jabbed, it was the Pfizer one. Reading the paperwork it says that if you have a low immune system, which hubby has due to his Lymphoma it doesn't give very much protection. Why bother under...
I have read that our local MP is making waves because our area is not receiving the vaccines it should and are having to cancel appointments and suspending inoculations for a day or more at a time.
To be honest I would prefer the Oxford one as the first jab gives a higher protection rate than the others. Then again any of them are appreciated if they can protect me from this dreadful virus.
Hubby's shielding one was 5 double sided sheets
Our appointments were made by our GP's phoning us. Think that is how the jab appointments are being made, not heard of anyone getting theirs by letter.
Hubby's shielding letter just told him what...
Yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel :)
