The plants don't know whether they are coming or going with the unsettled weather. I'm sure your garden will be fine eventually.
I cut down my fuchsias that were beginning to show from the bottom...
Sad news just now, Prince Phillip has passed away. To be honest I am not surprised after his last spell in hospital.
Wonder how they will manage the funeral in these times?
RIP
I think a date for the 2nd jab is given depending on where it is done. Ours was through the doctors at one of their surgeries but my carer had to go to a mass vaccination centre and she was given a...
We only got the call today, 2 days before the date given. It was the same timescale for the first one.
I was keeping an eye on the date just in case we didn't get an appointment but, then again, our...
Hubby and I are having our 2nd Covid jab on Saturday, 11 weeks after the 1st. Brings a bit of relief although care will still have to be taken.
Vaccines will get more efficient as time passes. The initial ones were produced in such a rush so any protection was better than none.
Have you thought about one of the pressure relieving mattresses like the hospitals have?
Cashing in on fear of Covid, does say not a substitute for the vaccine.
Hubby got his by text and email. No doubt paper version will arrive soon.
Hubby's should arrive in the next few days then. Still no reason not to be extremely cautious.
Hopefully we won't be affected because we had the Pfizer one. No mention of there being a shortage of that.
I hope this doesn't mean that the 2nd doses are going to be delayed beyond the 12 weeks if the booster is due during April or else it would have been a waste of money giving the 1st....
Just read that 100% of over 70's in our area have had the Covid vaccination. That can only be to the good.
I hope the rest of the population in our area follows suit.
According to statistics,...
I still say good for her and her partner for pushing the problem and getting it resolved for her. I hope that their result helps others in the future and that these assessors take more care in what...
In B&W newsletter. She sends in the bailiffs. Good for her....
StarBright, you are correct. I filled ours in last night. Why they in affect duplicated the gender question is a mystery only know to them.
Bl00dy hell, how devious can they get.
I should think not too. Whose business is it other than your own?
By the way, I am not trying to hide anything. :)
I hope that is an optional question if you are serious about there really being that question. Talk about an invasion of privacy.
That is an interesting thought Nukecad.
I've not even looked at the census yet. was leaving it until the required date but no doubt that the system will crash on that date,
How very annoying Nukecad. No consideration for those that do not have transport. Even so it is still a long way to travel and on public transport look at the risks being taken. Could your GP help by...
Happy birthday from me too. Hope you enjoyed the day the best you could.
Keep your ears open for someone who does sewing/dressmaking from home. Do not entertain the companies who will charge you an arm and a leg making it cheaper to buy the expensive versions.
I am a...
Do you know anyone who sews and could adapt a standard pair for you.
If I were to adapt some I would unpick the front seam, put a placket on one side with velcro and velcro on the unadapted side...
