Hi. Great work from yourself on keeping tabs on the cars and changes. You seem quite in the know so have a general question. How quickly do new models get released onto the scheme.
I am due to change in Oct and am probably just going to go for another 1 series but they are changing the model to a 2 series later this year. My preference would be to extend my car for a few months and hope that the 2 series makes it on the list asap. Any ideas? Have you seen this happen before when other manufacturers have done the same thing?
Thanks in advance
The 2-series is a rebadged 1-series 2 door coupe, the 1-series hatch remains.
As the coupe has been on the scheme before it will probably appear a few weeks after the official launch date (I'm unaware of the exact date at present).
You could wait until the last day before ordering your new car, however i don't think they will allow you to hold onto it indefinitely, especially as another brand of car may also suit your needs.
