Not seen any threads on this, forgive me if I've missed them, but is their any additional help or advice available to the Disabled regarding starting a new business?

A good bet is to ask your job center for a list of people who would be able to give you advice on start ups, the local council would have start up councilors in place, they can give you advice on things like loans or cash available.

But before going you really do need an idea of what your going do, what are you good at, and make sure you have the qualification you may need, for example if you were going to do office work run your own small office, then you may need the ECDL, European Computer Driving License .

Once your sure of what your going to do then go to your Job Center ask to speak to the disability adviser explain to them and they will have a whole load of brochure names and contacts for you.

The only car I can suggest based on the equipment levels and low AP you're after is the Nissan Qashqai Tekna. They start at £899 but I'd go for the 1.5 Diesel at £1099 (if you do more than town driving).

Those prices seem too low to be real.

Why?

Those are the APs (Advance Payments) similar to a first payment on a standard lease agreement, then you pay your weekly DLA which totals £8432 over 3 years. Then you hand the car back, seems reasonable to me.
